‘Edgar’ Personal Valet Parking App Wins MirrorLink® Hackathon
What: The Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) announced that ‘Edgar’ has won the 2015 MirrorLink Hackathon. Edgar solves parking woes by connecting drivers with individuals willing to park their car for a small fee.
Edgar was one of four finalists selected in June from round one of the MirrorLink Hackathon, a three-day competition in Paris between 21 teams of more than 90 developers. All four finalists received a 2,500-Euro prize, comped fees for MirrorLink certification and advancement to the final, two-month incubation round with BeMyApp. As the final winner, Edgar will receive 10,000 Euros and support from the CCC to officially launch the app.
